The Parish Council of Altura, welcomes, in the gallery Prof. Luís Amaro, from December 8th till January 6th, an exhibition of unique nativity scenes, which gathers more than 100 copies of this symbol representative of the Christmas period.

The exhibition gathers nativity scenes from various countries and continents, from Cabo Verde, through several countries in Europe and also from Israel. Among the oldest, one is more than 50 years old, manufactured in Portugal.

This initiative was born from the transfer of a private collection, to brighten even more this season of light and joy. You can visit the exhibition from Monday to Friday between 9am and 4pm.
