The Hammer exhibition, at the Prof. Luís Amaro Gallery of the Parish Council of Altura, was inaugurated in the morning and attracted the visit of hundreds of people throughout the day. The concentration of old motorized was another of the high moments of this party. Organized by friends of Old Mopeds "Passo Branco", the concentration brought together about half a hundred old engines, recalling the time between the 60s and 80s, when these motorcycles became democratized and produced some of the most mythical of portuguese manufacture, such as Casal Boss, Macal or the popular V5.
The afternoon continued the celebrations with musical animation, by the accordionist Sérgio Conceição and the performance of the Ethnographic Group of Quelfes "Os Velhos", with many convivas, also attracted by the grocery store, which puts on sale many of the local handicraft products and some best local and regional delicacies, such as honey, dried fruits and a huge variety of sweets. S. Martinho's celebrations continue next weekend in Odeleite on November 9th and in Alta Mora on November 10th. In Altura, it was an initiative organized by the Parish Council, with the support of the Municipality of Castro Marim.
